is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of
HAYKALAH. With
more than ten years of experience in Islamic
banking and finance, Mr. Hisham Koshak has
firmly established
HAYKALAH as a leading Saudi Islamic
investment banking firm.
Before founding
HAYKALAH in
2005, Mr. Koshak worked for The National
Commercial Bank ("NCB") where founded and
managed the Islamic Product Development Group
("PDG"). PDG served NCB's thrust of being "The
most inventive Islamic Products Provider". The
result of that came when PDG introduced the
first Islamic cash base finance ("TWARROQ") to
individuals then to corporate clients as well as
the first Islamic credit card, the first Islamic
credit card, the first Islamic shares margin
trade, the first real estate Asset baked
securitization that was turn in to an investment
fund.
After founding
HAYKALAH in 2005, Mr. Koshak was mandated
as a Vice-President at Swicorp and participated
in a number of landmark transactions in fields
of real estate, energy & infrastructure and
financial services among others in the Kingdom.
He was also a founding member of the team that
established the private equity management
division of Swicorp. Prior to joining Swicorp,
Mr. Koshak gained over 10 years of
experience with leading firms in the Kingdom,
The National Commercial Bank and Arab Islamic
Bank.
Mr. Koshak holds a
Masters of Business Administration in Marketing
Services and a Bachelor degree in Marketing from
Kensington University in Glendale California,
USA and working on his PHD in Islamic Economics
from Gorge Washington University – Washington
DC, USA.

Mohammad S. Ezayah
(Director, Investment Banking)
 Mr. Mohammad Ezayah joined
HAYKALAH in 2009 and heads
HAYKALAH’s Investment Banking through his meaningful experience of more than
25 years in banking and
financial industry. Mr. Ezayah
considered being amongst the
industry’s finest expertise in
Shari’a compliant banking,
investment as well as in
financial businesses world-wide.
Mr. Ezayah started his professional banking and financial
career late 1982 by joining the
Saudi Cairo Bank. In 1991, Mr.
Ezayah joined NCB and
managed the kingdom’s largest
investment management operation.
Late 1992, NCB formed the bank
restructuring team of expertise
and Mr. Ezayah was chosen
to contribute to that critical
mission. In 1995, he moved to
the newly developed “Islamic
Banking Division” as Head of
Treasury and Investments and in
1996, Mr. Ezayah founded
the development group whom
brought-up to the Islamic world
all brand-new innovative
financial instruments, such as
Tawarroq, Credit Cards and many
other instruments.
Later, in 2001, Mr. Ezayah joined Bank Aljazira and provided
the bank’s management essential
strategic direction and enabling
tools and means that allowed him
and the team to convert the bank
operations from conventional
banking to Islamic banking.
During 2007, Mr. Ezayah founded and became the CEO of Al-Nefaie
Investment group, a fully
pledged investment bank (with 5
full licenses) that operates
under the Saudi Capital Market
Authority “CMA” and during 2007,
he joined SEDCO as SVP
investment & asset management
for the real estate group and
managed large and global real
estate investment portfolio with
a group of expertise directly
reporting to him.
Finally, prior to joining
HAYKALAH, Mr. Ezayah was the CEO of SNASCO, a group that penetrated
all over MENA region focusing on
real estate development and wide
diversified portfolio of
investments.
Mr. Ezayah holds Bachelor
in business administration –
KAAU 1987, and enjoyed wide
range of development programs
while attending around the globe
in the relevant fields of his
business expertise.
Mr. Ezayah along with
