Hisham A A Koshak, MBA

(Founder & CEO)
 

An expert in the field of Banking Product Development ,Investment and Finance; specializing in Shari’a-Compliant Structured Finance,  Investment Appraisal, Equity Funds (Launching & Management) IPO's, Mergers & Acquisitions of Companies,   Business Evaluation and Establishing Companies Advisor (Legal,  Financial and Tax & Zakah).

Mr. Hisham Koshak is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of HAYKALAH . With more than ten years of experience in Islamic banking and finance, Mr. Hisham Koshak has firmly established HAYKALAH as a leading Saudi Islamic investment banking firm.

Before founding HAYKALAH in 2005, Mr. Hisham Koshak worked for The National Commercial Bank ("NCB") where founded and managed the Islamic Product Development Group ("PDG"). PDG served NCB's thrust of being "The most inventive Islamic Products Provider". The result of that came when PDG introduced the first Islamic cash base finance ("TWARROQ") to individuals then to corporate clients as well as the first Islamic credit card, the first Islamic credit card, the first Islamic shares margin trade, the first real estate Asset baked securitization that was turn in to an investment fund. 

After founding HAYKALAH in 2005, Mr. Hisham Koshak was mandated as a Vice-President at Swicorp and participated in a number of landmark transactions in fields of real estate, energy & infrastructure and financial services among others in the Kingdom. He was also a founding member of the team that established the private equity management division of Swicorp. Prior to joining Swicorp, Mr. Hisham Koshak gained over 10 years of experience with leading firms in the Kingdom, The National Commercial Bank and Arab Islamic Bank.

Mr. Koshak holds a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing Services and a Bachelor degree in Marketing from Kensington University in Glendale California, USA and working on his PHD in Islamic Economics from Gorge Washington University – Washington DC, USA.

Tarek Mahfoudhi, MBA

(VP Corporate Finance & CFO)
 

Mr. Mahfoudhi is a founding member of HAYKALAH team. In addition to the responsibility of the CFO at HAYKALAH, Mr. Tarek Mahfoudhi is the head of Islamic corporate finance at HAYKALAH and plays an active role in marketing and business development.

Mr. Mahfoudhi is an expert Corporate Banker with over 20 years experience in Real Estate Finance, Construction Finance, Dept Raising, Project Finance, and Trade Finance.

Prior to joining HAYKALAH, Mr. Mahfoudhi gained over 15 years of experience with leading firms across the Middle East, Europe and North America, including The National Commercial Bank of Saudi Arabia, Alesayi Group of Saudi Arabia, Swicorp Financial Advisory Services S.A, Group Steria of France and Tektrend International of Canada.

Mr. Mahfoudhi holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Cranfield School of Management UK and Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal Canada.

Hashim Z A Koshak

(VP Administration, Compliance & Anti Money Laundry Officer)
 

Mr. Hashim Koshak is a founding member of HAYKALAH team. In addition to the responsibility of being the Compliance Officer at HAYKALAH, Mr. Hashim Koshak is the head of administration at HAYKALAH and plays an active role in marketing and business development.

Prior to joining HAYKALAH, Mr. Hashim Koshak gained over 13 years of experience with in the governmental sector, including Emirate of Makkah Area and Jeddah City Governance.

Mr. Hashim Koshak holds a Bachelor Degree in Law form King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah Saudi Arabia and he is working on his Master Degree in Commercial Law from Al-Mansora University – Egypt. Mr. Hashim Koshak managed to gain a massive knowledge base by participating in several courses focusing on administration and management.

Bakur AlMohdar

(Relationship Manager)
 

Mr. Bakur AlMohdar joined HAYKALAH as a Relationship Manager. He plays an active role in marketing for new clients as well as managing the relation directly with the existing clients.

Before joining HAYKALAH, Mr. AlMohdar worked for Ministry of Petroleum - Mining Investment Department then moved to Saudi Geological Survey for 12 years in the Financial Affairs Department. Mr. AlMohdar obtained a Bachelor of Business Management Administration from Cambridge International College, UK.

Mazen A Azab

Mr. Mazen Azab is the Senior Manager in Islamic corporate finance at HAYKALAH and plays an active role in managing the day to day operation and the technique tasks and Clients' relationship management.

Prior to joining HAYKALAH, Mr. Mazen Azab gained over 10 years of experience with Al-Bilad Publication Est. a leading firm in the Kingdom managing several newspapers and magazines.

Hazem A Azab

Ms. Jo-ann Llanes

(Senior Manager)
 

 Ms. Jo-ann Llanes joined HAYKALAH as Accounting & Administration manager. She plays an active role in internal bookkeeping, and financial analyses.

Before joining HAYKALAH, Ms. Jo-ann Llanes worked in Philippines as accountant for almost 2 years for one of the largest companies in leisure and entertainment under SM Group of companies, Philippines. Ms. Jo-ann Llanes obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Technological Institute of the Philippines and was also a resident scholar in the said Institute. She is a licensed CPA and was a member of Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Ms. Teresita B. Gomez

 (Financial Analyst)

 

Ms. Teresita B. Gomez joined HAYKALAH as Financial Analyst . She plays an active role in preparing financial projections and  analyses.

Before joining HAYKALAH, Ms. Gomez worked as Finance Assistant  in one of Jeddah’s big IT Company wherein she handles mostly  its bank transactions i.e. processing of bank/letter of guarantees, Letters of Credits (exporter side), Bank Loans request and settlements, credit cards processing/settlements/cancellation and monitoring and reporting to the President the Bank remittances from various customers not only in the Kingdom but also in Dubai, Iran, Qatar and Oman.

Ms. Gomez has had more than 15 years managerial experience in government and multi-national companies in the Philippines before coming to the Kingdom in 2005. She is a Certified Public Accountant and had completed all the academic requirements  in the MBA studies  from one of the Scholar’s University in Manila where she finished her Bachelor Degree in Accountancy. She is a lifetime member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants and was a member of the prestigious Finance Executive Institute of the Philippines (FINEX) from 1986-1992. She attended various seminars conducted by FINEX, Sycip, Gorres & Velayo Auditing Firm and Government sponsored seminars/trainings.

Ms. Sumera Ghias

(Financial Analyst)
 

Ms. Sumera Ghias joined HAYKALAH as a Financial Analyst. She plays an active role in financial analysis, financial modelling and preparing feasibility studies and valuation reports.

Prior to joining HAYKALAH, Ms. Ghias has gained exposure to work environment by working part-time in SWIFT, as an Accountant, and in College of Business Administration’s Newsletter, as a Co-Editor. Apart from that, Ms. Ghias has enriched her knowledge by attending various forums, such as Jeddah Economic Forum, and lectures by speakers from big companies, such as P&G.

Ms. Ghias is in final stages of completing her Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration in Finance from College of Business Administration, Jeddah.

Ms. Ghias speaks English, Arabic and Urdu.
